Overview |
It came to the attention of one of us (RFVS) while tackling the site that a more methodical approach to it would be more realistic, at least as far as code is concerned and regarding the goal of having the site more or less finished, than getting bogged down in trying to spot polish everything. As such an expedite method to save pages in a support that could be annotated was needed to have impressions and notions readily recorded as hastily written notes on their very cause instead of committing them to hopelessly selective memory.
So, as Adobe Reader now has commenting capabilities, sections of the site were converted to *.pdf format and along the way the notion came unbidden that perhaps others that wish to comment on the site's contents would appreciate this format and so we make these files available for public commentary and critique.[1]
Or if you feel this all was much ado about nothing and would rather yourself print to *.pdf that one page you were raring to comment on but felt email was a bit too unwieldy to do so… well be our guest.
In any case, all annotated files with proper identification (so we know who to thank) should be sent to
dracontes (at) gmail (dot) com
Below you can find a list of the files available for review.[2]
[1] A special note to the artists among our readers: we must admit to being severely overworked and plagued by the vagaries of our lives to have the attribution to the images we use occasionally botched. We ask for your patience and comprehension while we work to update the code of the site. Rest assured that we do have the update of permissions for image use on our list of tasks.
[2] Yes, some names and placements are a bit peculiar. Let me just state that a complete site *.pdf weighs in at 160 MB and is 6585 pages long and it was compiled from 1618 web pages. One can only niggle so much in the face of such a daunting task. If you'd be willing to face it yourself, as far as annotating the pertinent file would be concerned, do give us a word at the aforementioned e-mail.
